As an independent, not-for-profit public media organization, contributions from local listeners and viewers provide the largest source of funding for all the programs and services you rely upon. WXXI Members are viewers and listeners who have made a donation, in any amount, in the last 12 months. Membership benefits include the Monthly Happenings digital newsletter, home delivery of CITY magazine upon request (starting at $35/year) and PBS Passport (starting at $5/month). In addition, you will feel pride every time you enjoy WXXI programming, knowing that your generosity makes this available to everyone.
Sustaining Membership is an ongoing monthly contribution to WXXI, set up as an automatic payment from your bank account, credit card or debit card. Your monthly contribution is easy and affordable for you (Sustaining Membership starts at just $5 a month), and provides reliable support for the programs you count on. A donation in any amount makes you a member of WXXI, but we suggest a base donation of $60 a year. That giving level will grant you access to PBS Passport, one of our favorite member benefits!
WXXI Leadership Circle donors are deeply committed to the mission of WXXI. This circle of philanthropy encompasses four giving societies representing individuals who have made significant yearly gifts to support public media in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region as well as those who have included WXXI in their future estate plans.
Turn your old vehicle into the programs you love – we’ll even tow it away for free! You can donate a car, truck, van, motorcycle, or boat.
Many companies will match donations made by their employees and retirees – is your employer one of them? You could double or even triple your support to WXXI through your employer’s matching gift program.
Memorial gifts are a wonderful way to honor and remember someone who loved public media. Notification of your gift can be sent to your loved one’s family.
