WXXI’s Family Movie Friday in November will highlight a brand new special from PBS KIDS, Carnival of the Animals!
About the “Movies”
Carnival of Animals is a PBS KIDS animated special that brings the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s performance of the beloved classical music piece in a whole new playful way. The vibrant 2D animated special features French composer Camille Saint-Saëns’ full iconic composition recorded live by the renowned, multiple Grammy-winning conductor, Gustavo Dudamel, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, recorded at the Hollywood Bowl.
During this special screening, WXXI Early Learning Team will be joined by our WXXI Classical friends as well as our neighbors from Hochstein School of Music and Eastman School of Music.
