Henry Knox: Resolve Forged by Revolution • On-Demand

Henry Knox: Resolve Forged by Revolution

In the winter of 1775 & 1776, hope for a free America was chilled by the British occupation of Boston. One patriot led a dangerous journey cloaked in uncertainty, navigating snow, mountains and doubt to move the “Noble Train of Artillery.” Experience the courage, conviction, and spirit that liberated Boston and inspires an enduring legacy 250 years later. This is the Story of Henry Knox!

This short film tells the remarkable story of Henry Knox and his daring winter mission known as the Noble Train of Artillery — a bold feat that helped change the course of the American Revolutionary War. More than a historical recap, the film connects the determination, ingenuity, and leadership shown by Knox and the communities who supported him to a new generation of Americans. As we approach the 250th anniversary of the British evacuation of Boston, made possible after Knox’s artillery was placed on Dorchester Heights, this is the perfect moment to revisit this extraordinary story and the ongoing regional commitment to commemorating it. On-Demand below. Also airs and stream live on WXXI-TV on Saturday, May 3, 2026 at 3:00pm
