Disney on "Stage Notes"

This week’s Stage Notes is sure to be animated when host Robert Hammond showcases songs from Broadway musicals produced by Disney.

Among others, songs from Beauty and the Beast; Mary Poppins; The Little Mermaid; Tarzan and Disney’s hottest new musical adaptation, Newsies will be featured.   Gather the kids around the radio for this week’s wonderful world of Stage Notes. 

Founded in 1993 as Walt Disney Theatrical, this division of Disney has gained a reputation within the Broadway industry for creating professional and popular (both critically and financially) performances.  The first production was the acclaimed Beauty and the Beast in 1994, and most recently, the smash hit Newsies.
