No One is Alone

New York City's theater world has always had a strong gay component, both on and off stage. The Broadway scene has long been perceived as a safe haven and escape for the LGBT community— and it’s been on the cutting edge of LGBT matters, such as openly addressing the AIDS crisis.

In recognition of LGBT Pride Month, join host Robert Hammond for this week’s Stage Notes. Songs from decades of musicals that have poignantly and amusingly shed led light on a community that has often felt itself to be treated less than equally.
