"Stage Notes" Celebrates its Second Anniversary with Broadway Sensation David Burnham

Join host Robert Hammond and his special guest David Burnham to celebrate the second anniversary of Stage Notes.
Burnham was the first guest on Stage Notes when the program debuted in October 2010. This anniversary edition is sure to be an exciting program filled with memories and spectacular show tunes with one of Broadway’s finest talents.
David Burnham was last seen on Broadway as Fiyero in the mega, blockbuster musical Wicked. He was handpicked by Stephen Schwartz, the creator of Wicked, to work with him in the developmental workshops of the show in the same role.

Other Broadway credits include Fabrizio Naccarelli in the original company of The Light in the Piazza. He performed on the Tony Awards and the PBS telecast Live From Lincoln Center. He is the recipient of the prestigious Helen Hayes Award for best actor as well as the best Actor Garland Award for his portrayal of Fabrizio Naccarelli in the national Broadway tour of The Light In The Piazza.

David first gained critical acclaim when, after a two year search, he was chosen to replace Donny Osmond as Joseph in the national tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Dramalogue Award). He toured nationally in another Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, in the role of Peter

Most recently, he starred in the new Off-Broadway show The Best Is Yet to Come - The Music Of Cy Coleman. He was the voice of the prince in the Warner Bros. animated feature The King And I, and can be heard on the soundtracks of Ghepetto and Home On The Range.
David performs with symphonies all over the United States, Canada, and Europe. He has two CDs, David Burnham, and his newly released sophomore project, One Day.
David works extensively with kids holding vocal and acting workshops. Each summer he hosts a program for young artists called Camp Sing. Information about David is available at www.davidburnham.com.Â
