Stage Notes welcomes Rochester native and Broadway star, Joe Aaron Reid, to its New Year’s Eve program.

Join host Robert Hammond as he talks in studio with Reid about his fascinating Broadway career, and how his education at Greece Athena High School (2001) and Ithaca College (BFA in musical theatre) helped prepare him for The Great White Way.

On Broadway he’s been in Catch Me if You Can, Finian’s Rainbow, Chicago, and Curtains. His Off-Broadway credits include Finian’s Rainbow (Encores!), Kismet (Encores!), The Tin Pan Alley Rag, and Lines. Regional credits include:  On The Town, Cats, Curtains, Ragtime (u/s Coalhouse, Paper Mill), Forum, Camelot, Guys and Dolls, and Beauty and the Beast. Television credits include: The Guiding Light, The Tony Awards, The Today Show, and Regis & Kelly.  He’ll be in the upcoming Broadway production of Ghost (opening April 23, 2012), and the upcoming television series, Smash, debuting on NBC February 6, 2012.
