Live from Hochstein: A Cup of Good Cheer

(Rochester, NY) - Classical 91.5's annual celebration of the holiday season with the choral chamber ensemble Madrigalia under the direction of their new Artistic Director Cary Ratcliff, Live from Hochstein: A Cup of Good Cheer airs on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 12:10 p.m. on Classical 91.5 FM. It repeats that evening at 10 p.m. on Classical 91.5.

Madrigalia, a Rochester, New York based chamber ensemble, performs choral music of all genres at the highest level of artistic excellence, and promotes the appreciation of choral singing to diverse audiences through performances, recordings, broadcasts, outreach, and the commissioning of new music.Madrigalia presents unique and challenging programs of choral music from all times and places, delighting audiences with its beauty of sound.

Live from Hochstein with host Mona Seghatoleslami is a series of lunchtime concerts by some of the finest artists in our area broadcast live from Hochstein Performance Hall. Each of these free “brown bag” concerts runs from 12:10-12:50 p.m., giving downtown business people, teachers, families, students, and friends an opportunity to enjoy classical music during their lunch hour. You can also hear an encore broadcast of Live from Hochstein later the same day at 10 p.m. on Classical 91.5.
