Hidden Brain

The new series will air Saturdays at 11 a.m. on AM 1370, beginning October 7th and repeats Sundays at 10 a.m. Using science and storytelling, Hidden Brain reveals the unconscious patterns that drive human behavior, the biases that shape our choices, and the triggers that direct the course of our relationships.

Vedantam, the show's host is a beloved contributor to Morning Edition and All Things Considered. Now audiences will be able to hear him go deeper on intriguing topics. The goal of Hidden Brain isn't merely to entertain, but to give listeners insights to apply at work, at home and throughout your life. Each episode will feature a single thematic idea that Vedantam will explore.

The Hidden Brain podcast, still availalbe on iTunes, Google Play and NPR One, launched in 2015. Each 20-minute episode finds creative ways tomake social science research accessible. Recurring segments include “Mad Scientist,” where guests try to predict what an experiment found, and “Stopwatch Science” – a rapid-fire exchange of ideas.
