A Prairie Home Companion with Chris Thile

(Rochester, NY) – Musician extraordinaire Chris Thile takes over for Garrison Keillor as the new host of A Prairie Home Companion Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 12 p.m. on AM 1370. Thile's wide range of musical taste, paired with his vast network of famous and talented friends, will draw new, diverse talent to public radio. Each week, Thile will feature incredible live performances from an array of special musical guests — some known by all, and some who soon will be — along with a bit of comedy and spoken word, plus he will compose and perform a unique new song each week.

The only live music and variety show aired nationwide today, A Prairie Home Companion® is a Saturday night staple for radio audiences everywhere. The show features a unique blend of musical performances and comedy.

Please note: A Prairie Home Companion moves from Classical 91.5 to WRUR-FM 88.5 Saturdays at 6 p.m., beginning October 15.
