NPR News: Vice Presidential and Presidential Debates
(Rochester, NY) – AM 1370 will carry NPR News’ live, anchored special coverage and analysis of these presidential and vice-presidential debates:
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4, 9PM: VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE AT LONGWOOD UNIVERSITY IN FARMVILLE, VIRGINIA
Moderator: CBS’ Elaine Quijano.
The debate will be divided into nine time segments of approximately 10 minutes each.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9, 9PM: PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE AT WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
Moderators: ABC’s Martha Raddatz and CNN’s Anderson Cooper.
This presidential debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which half of the questions will be posed directly by citizen participants and the other half will be based on topics of broad public interest as reflected in social media and other sources.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19, 9PM: PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA, LAS VEGAS
Moderator: Fox News’ Chris Wallace.
This debate will be divided into six timed segments on major topics. Wallace will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other.
