Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival 2016

(Rochester, New York) – Classical 91.5 brings listeners 13 episodes of a series that features highlights from the 43rd season of the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival. The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival airs Sundays at 2 p.m. beginning, May 1, 2016. The season featured conductor Alan Gilbert and the festival's artists in residence. Each broadcast hour contains two to three works representing the Festival’s commitment not only to core repertoire, but to underperformed and newly-composed works.

The Festival is known for its enduring commitment to tradition, artistic excellence, innovation, and vision. In keeping with the Festival’s high standards, the radio series presents superbly recorded concerts and recitals by some of today’s greatest musical artists. This radio series draws performances from the most recent summer festival in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
