This holiday season, Innovation Hub looks at how innovations are reshaping our holidays — altering approaches to travel, family gatherings, food, and more. Innovation Hub – Unwrapping the Future, hosted by Kara Millier, airs Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 9 p.m. on AM 1370.

AM 1370 is proud to bring you this holiday special, produced by Innovation Hub. Innovation Hub is a regular series distributed by Public Radio International. It features today's most creative thinkers - from authors to researchers to business leaders. It explores new avenues in education, science, medicine, transportation, and more. Guests have included Michael Pollan, Sal Khan, Marissa Mayer, Clayton Christensen, Jared Diamond, Paul Farmer, Sherry Turkle, and Brian Greene. 

Kara Miller is the host and executive editor of Innovation Hub, which she launched in 2011. Kara also contributes to "The Takeaway," and WGBH's "Morning Edition." Her writing has appeared in The Boston Globe, The National Journal, The Boston Herald,, The Huffington Post, and The International Herald Tribune. Kara holds a Ph.D. from Tufts and a B.A. from Yale.
