70s & 80s Soul Rewind

(Rochester, New York) -- Whoopi Goldberg hosts this new special capturing the smooth, sexy, and sophisticated sounds of the greatest groups and solo artists from the 1970s and 1980s from the MY MUSIC and worldwide archives. With performances by the Spinners, Lou Rawls, Marvin Gaye, Earth, Wind & Fire, Bill Withers, the Trampps, the Jackson 5 and more, this retrospective is a follow-up to two previous popular MY MUSIC programs — Superstars of '70s Soul with Patti Labelle and Aretha Franklin Presents Soul Rewind. 70s & 80s Soul Rewind airs Saturday, June 1 at 9 p.m. on WXXI-TV.
