Celtic Woman – Believe

Internationally renowned for alluring stage productions and songs of heartwarming inspiration, the singing sensation Celtic Woman presents a new chapter of musical enchantment to be enjoyed by the entire family.  Celtic Woman – Believe airs Monday, August 13 at 9 p.m. on WXXI-TV/HD (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11). Viewers will learn of an opportunity to purchase tickets for an upcoming Celtic Woman show in the Rochester Auditorium Theatre, and a special meet and greet.

Celtic Woman, the renowned Irish female group, returns with a new chapter in their masterful stage and vocal production. Filmed in Atlanta at the Fox Theatre, Believe combines the singing talents of Celtic Woman with guest ensembles including a 20-piece orchestra, 16-piece Atlanta Bagpipe Band, seven-piece Celtic Woman Band, 10-member Aontas Choir and 30-member children’s choir. Enjoy the folk sound, Celtic inspiration, and majestic visual production that will awe the entire family.

Celtic Woman was formed in 2004 by Sharon Browne and David Downes after success in the Celtic stage show Riverdance. Performers in Believe include vocalists Chloë Agnew, Lisa Kelly, Lisa Lambe, and fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt. An album recording of Believe was released in January 2012 and a world tour is scheduled for 2012.
