The Rick Holland / Evan Dobbins Little Big Band

The Little Big Band is a group that has commissioned as many as 60 new charts written specifically for the band. The new ten-piece ensemble plays existing contemporary-mainstream jazz. While smaller than a traditional big band, the experience is similar, from the remarkable energy and wall-to-wall sound to the awesome charts by Jim Martin, Brent Wallarab, Kerry Strayer ad Bill Dobbins that never fail to bring out the best in the band's two-trumpet, two-trombone, four reeds and rhythm format.
