MoChester

MoChester
MoChester is a 4-piece rock/pop driven band from Rochester, NY. The band's name is actually a fusion of the city it started in and Motown, one of its original influences. The members of MoChester consists of Brandon Sheffer on lead vocals and guitar, Jonathan Sheffer on keys, guitar and backup vocals, Ben Overmyer on bass guitar, and Alex Melville on drums. The band was formed in 2001, but is facing a fresh start in 2011 with the addition of Overmyer, and the release of their debut album Stop and Go. MoChester's music has drawn comparisons to a variety of other acts, including O.A.R. and Incubus. The mainstream sound of the band is best described within the genres of rock, pop and alternative, and even at times has a reggae twist. Their harmony-rich hooks and radio-friendly tunes are sure to please the ears of fans both young and old.
