NEXUS Percussion Ensemble. 

When Carnegie Hall celebrated 100 years, composer Toru Takemitsu wrote “From Me Flows What You Call Time” for the Boston Symphony Orchestra and NEXUS Percussion Ensemble for the event.  Since then, NEXUS has played it about 100 times. On the eve of their performance of the work with your RPO, conductor Peter Bay and Nexus members William Cahn and Russell Hartenberger joined Julia Figueras to talk about the piece, the nuance of percussion, and the rest of the program, too.
