More than $4 million given to nonprofits to fight violence in Rochester

The money will be used for proactive solutions to Rochester's surging violent crime. As of Friday, Rochester Police said there have been 80 homicides in Rochester so far in 2021 -- the most in recorded history and nearly triple the city’s 10-year average.
