Who are the helpers in your neighborhood? Help your child learn about helpers with these videos, activities, and more!

This is a great time to talk to children about who the helpers are in their community, and who to look to for examples of kindness and caring. Mister Rogers said, "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping."

WXXI Education, with funding support from Meet the Helpers, has collected the below resources to use as a Virtual Family Kit. Use these activities, videos, songs, and more to introduce your children to the helpers in their neighborhood and community, and explore how your child and you can be helpers too.
