Narrated by Academy-Award nominee Chris Cooper, this film follows three young adults with intellectual disabilities and how they navigate school, college and workforce.

Micah, Naieer, and Naomie, who, with the support of family, educators, and colleagues, work toward a future marked with increased inclusion and independence. Their pioneering lives challenge staid notions of intelligence as they navigate high school, college, and the workforce. Intelligent Lives, an America ReFramed presentation, airs Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 4 p.m. on WXXI-TV.

This special is part of Move to Include, a partnership between WXXI and the Golisano Foundation designed to promote inclusion for people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
