In this second-annual holiday radio extravaganza, Terrible, Thanks for Asking host Nora McInerny will once again bedazzle this difficult time of year with humor, stories, and the very real realness of reality. Happy(ish) Holidays from Terrible, Thanks for Asking airs Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 9 p.m. on AM 1370.

"Terrible, Thanks for Asking," says Nora McInerny after her husband Aaron died as she celebrated Thanksgiving with her family. Well ...maybe not "celebrated".  Actually, why would you do that? Try to be normal when clearly everything isn't? But every year, millions of people do the same thing during the holidays.

Nora documented this time in her life through her popular blog My Husband's Tumor. She turned Aaron's favorite tee shirt, and her own experience with the silence of suffering, into a non-profit called Still Kickin. Her memoir It's Okay to Laugh (Crying is Cool, Too) was published by HarperCollins. Nora is a Contributing Editor for Elle.com, and a regular contributor to Cosmopolitan.com.
