The Princess Problem

Bara Levin

D.W. loves the Princess Platoon series--until she realizes that it doesn’t represent everyone.

After Arthur's friend, Lydia, tells D.W. she doesn't like the Princess Platoon series because she's never seen one with a disability, D.W. tries to prove her wrong. After realizing there is none, Lydia shows D.W. a story about a real-life princess who had a disability. Arthur The Lost Dinosaur/The Princess Problem airs Monday, January 20 at 6:30 a.m. on WXXI-TV. (Please note: The show is broken up into two 15-minute segments. The Princess Problem will air at 6:45 a.m.)

With Lydia's help, D.W. shows her friend, Emily, the true qualities of a princess and that just because she doesn't look like one of the princesses from the Princess Platoon, she still deserves to be included in the princess tea parties.
