Volunteer for the WXXI Open House!

CELEBRATE OUR 50th ANNIVERSARY WITH US!!

Volunteers will help direct people, help with an activity, or act as a character handler. You will be on your feet most of your shift. If you cannot stand please email me at volunteer@wxxi.org and I will try to find a volunteer job for you where you can sit! It's a fun but crazy day with lots and lots of people but we really do need your help for our 50th anniversary Open House!

The event is from 10 am - 3 pm but we will have 2 shifts for volunteers: 9:00 - 12:15 and 12:00 - 3:15 pm. 

This event brings around 3,000 people to tour our station! Every floor has activities where the public can check out the sets, visit the radio studios, meet hosts and reporters, meet PBS characters, and take part in a lot of different fun and educational hands-on activities.
