Voice of the Voter Hosts Monroe County Exec Debate at WXXI 10/26

(Rochester, New York) October 21, 2015 – Former Brighton supervisor Sandra Frankel (Democratic, Working Families and Women’s Equality Parties), Monroe County Clerk Cheryl Dinolfo (Republican, Conservative, Independence and Reform Parties), and Rajesh Barnabas (Green Party) have agreed to participate in a Monroe County Executive debate hosted by Voice of the Voter.

The debate is scheduled for Monday, October 26th from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. and will air live on AM 1370 and WXXI-TV, and streamed on WXXI.org/news, democratandchronicle.com, 13wham.com and wdkx.com.  There will be an extended portion of the debate that will be streamed online from 9:00 to 9:15 p.m.

The debate will be moderated by WXXI Connections’ host Evan Dawson. The candidates will share their platforms and answer questions from panelists:

  • Sheila Rayam, Community Engagement Editor, Democrat and Chronicle
  • Sean Carroll, Executive Producer, 13WHAM-TV
  • Tariq Spence, Morning Host, WDKX 103.9

The debate is part of Voice of the Voter, a collaboration among WXXI Public Broadcasting, Democrat and Chronicle, 13WHAM-TV and WDKX 103.9, which is committed to bringing citizens’ concerns to the forefront in political issues.
