Join the Pittsburgh Symphony for an exciting month of concert features. Highlights include Beethoven's fourth Symphony, Bach/Stokowsi Tocatta and Fuge, and vocal music performed by the visiting Tallis Scholars. 

4/6      Manfred Honeck leads the orchestra and The Tallis Scholars (Peter Phillips, director) in performance of  Victoria: Dum complerentur, Surrexit pastor bonus, Ave Maria, and Versa est in luctum, Bruckner: Locus iste, and Ave Maria, Allegri: Miserere, and Bruckner: Symphony No. 4, Romantic. 

4/13    Manfred Honeck conducts Beethoven: Piano Concerto No. 4 with Till Fellner, pianist, and Strauss: Waltzes and Polkas.

4/20    Christoph Konig leads the orchestra in performance of  Haydn: Symphony No. 22, The Philospher, Danielpour: Darkness in the Ancient Valley, and Strauss: Also Sprach Zarathustra with Hila Plitman, soprano. 

4/27     Manfred Honeck conducts Bach/Stokowski: Toccata and Fugue, Beethoven: Symphony No. 4, and Brahms: Piano Concerto No. 1 with Helene Grimaud, piano.
