Friday
Hour 1:
Messiah, Christmas Carol, Nutcracker
Every year as Christmas approaches, pretty much anywhere you live, there will be at least one local production of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, Handel's Messiah, and the ballet The Nutcracker. In the first hour of Arts Friday on 1370 Connection, take some time to learn a little bit more about these evergreen holiday favorites with local experts: Jamey Leverett of Rochester City Ballet, Mark Cuddy of Geva Theatre, William Weinert of the Eastman School of Music, and Eric Townell of the Rochester Oratorio Society and Rochester Lyric Opera. You're invited to join the discussion by calling in with questions and to share your experiences.
Hour 2:
A documentary, “Mandela: An Audio History” produced by Joe Richman & Sue Johnson of Radio Diaries
