Deborah Murray and Karen Ross
Ten months ago Deborah Murray donated a kidney to her best friend’s husband, who had been living with polycystic kidney disease for nearly 40 years. A few months, while StoryCorps was in residence at Rundel Library here in Rochester, later Donna visited the Mobile Recording Booth with Karen Ross to talk about the experience of giving part of herself to save another person.

Kidney Donation
Being a close observer to both the recipient and donor throughout the process, I fully recomend this to anyone who can give this gift of life.
It is truly amazing to watch the immediate change in quality of life in our friend Bill. An organ donation is truly a significant and life changing event, one that will be remembered by all friends and family for the rest of their lives.
We are more connected and blessed by this medical event and recomend a donation procedure without hesitation.
