Frank Lloyd Wright's Boynton House: The Next Hundred Years is a must see!

WXXI recently held a special preview of our newest documentary, Frank Lloyd Wright's Boynton House: The Next Hundred Years, at the Little Theatre. Though many of our television viewers saw the preview episode when we aired it in December of 2011, this was the first time the full documentary was presented. In what was a gala evening, complete with a red carpet and "paparazzi", I can assure you that the final production is not only beautiful, but unfolds into a fascinating story about the restoration of a lifetime. The invited audience, which included many of the individuals responsible for the work on the home, was made complete by the homeowners Fran Cosentino and Jane Parker, who got to see their dream come alive on the big screen.

Now, on Thursday, September 20, you will have the same opportunity, as WXXI has the premiere airing of The Next Hundred Years at 8:00 pm. Not only will you be able to watch the program, but we will have a number of guests —  including Fran and Jane — appearing throughout the evening talking about the the restoration, the production and giving a behind-the scenes glimpse of what it's like to own a Frank Lloyd Wright house. Be sure to watch and find out how to get your own copy of the extra-filled DVD!
