Sir James Galway guests on the first program this month.  More spectacular performances by tomorrow's stars follow in subsequent weeks.

3/4        From Athens, GA, where the great flutist Sir James Galway collaborates with two outstanding teenage string players in the Beethoven Serenade. Also a 12-year-old pianist plays Brahms and an 18-year-old harpist plays Gabriel Piernés Impromptu Caprice.

3/11      From Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh, you'll hear teenagers from the Philadelphia area perform from Schubert's monumental "Death and the Maiden" quartet and the Bartok Second Rhapsody performed by a 16-year-old violinist from Illinois. Also, an unusually dynamic young pianist/composer plays Chopin and an excerpt from one of his own pieces.

3/18      From Oklahoma City University's Kirkpatrick Auditorium, you'll hear a 16-year-old trumpet player play the music of Oskar Böhme and an 11-year-old pianist play Bach. You'll also meet the 14-year-old junior winner of the 2010 Sphinx Competition for African American and Latino string players, and meet a teenage cellist who lives and breathes Judy Garland.

3/25      From Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, we’ll hear a 17-year-old cellist perform Rachmaninoff, a 15-year-old Washington native plays Poulenc on the violin, and a From the Top alumnus currently studying at Bowdoin plays piano.
