From as far South as Georgia, to the Appalachians and out West to Seattle, tune in in February to hear selections from some of the great American Music Festivals.

2/6        The Savannah Music Festival presents a variety of musical genres, as well as dance performances, films, narrative programs, lectures and youth concerts to build a thriving arts festival for all audience members. The Savannah Music Festival also collaborates with local arts organizations, such as the renowned Savannah College of Art & Design, the Telfair Museum of Art as well as the Georgia Historical Society and others.

2/13      The Brevard Music Festival delights audiences with the natural beauty of the Appalachians enhanced by the dulcet tones of classical music. What began as a small summer music camp has blossomed into fantastic summer music series which brings classical music’s players to North Carolina in the months of June through August.

2/20      Each July, Seattleites head indoors to the incredible acoustic space of Benaroya Hall’s Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall for the Seattle Chamber Music Society summer festival. The festival spans four weeks and celebrates its 31st year in 2011.

2/27      The International Piano Festival kicks off from the Princeton University campus this year as part of the Golandsky Institute’s Summer Symposium. The festival celebrates piano masterworks and brings students, teachers and professional pianists together to hear wonderful music and hone their craft.
