Report: New Yorkers Face Smaller Incomes, Fewer Opportunities

WXXI Capitol Bureau Correspondent Karen DeWitt reports a think tank studied employment and other data and concluded that $31 billion a year was lost in the three year economic slump in New York State.

Karen analyzes the report from the Fiscal Policy Institute which estimates 400,000 jobs were eliminated in the state of New York since the Great Recession began and another 96,000 new jobs were never created.
