Another Crash Involving a Tour Bus Kills One, Injures Dozens

A man from Michigan is dead after the tractor trailer he was driving crashed into a tour bus on the New York State Thruway near Waterloo.

The accident happened in the eastbound lanes around 1:30 in the morning Friday. More than two dozen people suffered injuries with many transported to hospitals in Rochester and Syracuse.


It's the second fatal crash involving a tour bus and third major deadly incident on area roads.

Sunday, a tour bus blew a tire on Interstate 390 near Avoca, Steuben County and ran off the highway killing two people.

Tuesday afternoon, 5 Amish farmers died after the van they were riding in was sideswiped by an alleged drunk driver and then crashed into a farm tractor in Benton, Yates County.
