Vargas Outlines Priorities as RCSD Interim Superintendent

The Rochester City School Board introduced Bolgen Vargas as interim superintendent and he wasted no time in discussing his plans when he takes over.

Vargas was president of the school board from 1998 to 2002 and is currently a counselor in the Greece Central School District.

Vargas will take over for outgoing superintendent Jean-Claude Brizard who is leaving to become leader of Chicago Public Schools.

Vargas talked about his priorities as he takes over at the district.
