Upstate NY College Student Among New Freedom Riders

WXXI's Helene Biandudi talked with upstate New York college student Tariq Meyers, one of those re-tracing the historic ride chronicled in a new PBS documentary airing May 16 on WXXI-TV.

Meyers explained why he's talking part in the 10-day journey as part of a focus on the 50th anniversary of the Freedom Rides of 1961.
