High Approval Ratings Continue for Cuomo

A new poll shows Governor Andrew Cuomo's favorability and job performance ratings increasing after passage of an on-time state budget.

The new poll by the Siena Research Institute reports that 73% of voters view Cuomo favorably, up from 69%. As for job performance, 54% say Cuomo is doing and excellent or good job, up from 51%.

WXXI Capitol Bureau Correspondent Karen DeWitt spoke with Siena's Steve Greenberg about the poll.
