State of Disrepair: Small Bridges, Big Challenges

Dozens of bridges across New York’s Erie Canal are nearly a century old – and are no longer in good condition. Brockport is home to three of these bridges, all located within a half-mile stretch of the waterway.

As part of our series State of Disrepair, Carlet Cleare reports on how it’s going to cost taxpayers across the state millions to keep them operating.
