This week on Concierto, Cuarteto Latinoamericano plays "Magdelena," an example of the Mexican waltz tradition, and Chilean conductor Maximiano Valdés leads the Asturias Symphony Orchestra in "Soleriana," a suite by Spanish composer Joaquín Rodrigo.

Concierto, a weekly program of classical music presented in Spanish and English, features classical music by Latin American and Spanish composers and musicians. The series will airs on Classical 91.5 Tuesdays at 10 p.m.
