Celebrate the summer Olympics in Brazil with Classical 91.5’s mini-series, A Joyful Cry: Brazil’s Choro Music, Sundays at 2:00 p.m. July 31st through August 21st.

This four-part series of one-hour programs features the unique, exciting and virtuosic Brazilian musical style known as Choro, which means “cry.”  But the music is anything but sad; in fact, it’s some of the happiest and most energetic music in the world, full of distinctive rhythms and catchy melodies.
