Musica Latina

Classical 91.5 is pleased to bring you three radio series dedicated to Latino music. The Spanish Hour with Candice Agree airs on Mondays at 10 p.m., Fiesta! with Elbio Barilari airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m., and Concierto with Frank Dominguez, the nation’s first bi-lingual classical music program, airs on Thursdays at 10 p.m.  Join us as we celebrate the contribution of Latin American and Spanish composers and musicians.

Celebrate the summer Olympics in Brazil with Classical 91.5’s mini-series, A Joyful Cry: Brazil’s Choro Music, Sundays at 2:00 p.m. July 31st through August 21st.

This four-part series of one-hour programs features the unique, exciting and virtuosic Brazilian musical style known as Choro, which means “cry.”  But the music is anything but sad; in fact, it’s some of the happiest and most energetic music in the world, full of distinctive rhythms and catchy melodies.
