While it may not be your favorite part of public radio – it's a necessary and important part of keeping WXXI strong. Without the support of our members, we couldn't bring you Morning Edition, Connections with Evan Dawson, Backstage Pass, Open Tunings, and so many other great programs that you've come to rely on. 

There are things I've heard on public radio that have shaped how I view the world. I bet that's happened to you, too. In a time when newspapers are folding, TV news is shrinking, and journalism is in a state of disarray, it's more important than ever that we keep public radio strong. And, the people that have the power to do that -- to keep an independent voice vital -- are those who listen.
