Join us for "Vietnam War Conversations", a "Connections" special on August 24th

The sweeping and powerful documentary, The Vietnam War, which is being referred to as Ken Burns’ most ambitious film, premieres next month on WXXI-TV. In anticipation of the series, WXXI has partnered with local organizations to host outreach events to engage our community in a conversation about what happened during the Vietnam War.

In July, MuCCC Theater hosted a week of readings, re-enactments, and a preview screening of the series. This month, WXXI will broadcast a two-hour Connections with Evan Dawson live from the Little Theatre on Thursday, August 24 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The two-hour special will feature panelists representing diverse local voices, such as those featured in Ken's docu-series. The Connections event is free and open to the public.
