In addition to great classical music, WXXI host and producer Brenda Tremblay offers intimate and offbeat interviews with RPO music director Christopher Seaman. Extended conversations about the concerts are available as free podcasts at WXXI is proud to present radio concerts from the 2008-2009 season of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m., beginning April 8 on Classical 91.5/90.3/HD 91.5-1.

The 14 concerts in the 2008-2009 season kicks off with Pianist André Watts, who joins the RPO for Beethoven's Emperor Concerto, and Christopher Seaman conducts Shostakovich's Festive Overture and Dvo?ák's New World Symphony.
