Need to Know: Canandaigua Tragedies and the Effect on Students

The Canandaigua school system has dealt with two significant tragedies in less than three months. On Friday, May 8 at 8:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV 21 (cable 11) and WXXI-HD (DT21.1/cable 1011) Need to Know looks at what impact they have on the young people there and throughout the region, and what sort of help do they need to cope? Dr. Elizabeth Meeker of the Consortium on Trauma, Illness, and Grief in Schools joins Need to Know to discuss.
Also, the Lilac Festival kicks off tourist season this week. Need to Know talks with Finger Lakes Tourism Alliance President Cynthia Kimble about industry expectations in these economic times.
