Moth Radio Hour

Sun, 10/11/2009 - 10:00pm

The Moth Radio Hour features true stories told live on stage without scripts, notes, props, or accompaniment. On Sunday, October 11 at 10 p.m. on AM1370/FM-HD91.5 tune it to hear stories from beloved author Malcolm Gladwell (Outliers, Blink, The Tipping Point) about a weddin prank gone horribly wrong; an African-American home care attendant caring for a dying Klansman; and a miracle survivor of a gang initiation.

Moth Radio Hour mixes humorous, heartbreaking, and poignant tales that captivate, surprise, and delight audiences with their honesty and bravery. It is old-fashioned storytelling on modern topics. These pilot programs are hosted by Lea Thau and Catherine Burns, two dynamic women who lead The Moth organization in New York, and by Dan Kennedy, who MCs many of the live events.
