Ms. Guthrie, a soprano from Alexandria, Viginia, has performed as the Vixen in The Cunning Little Vixen and Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, Peabody Opera Theatre; and as Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Opera Theater of Connecticut and University of Connecticut Opera Theater. She earned her B.M. from University of Connecticut and her Master of Music from Peabody Conservatory of the John Hopkins University.

In addition to rehearsing and performing, Young Artists receive musical coaching, attend classes in diction and acting, and are given instruction in such skills as audition techniques, role preparation and the business aspects of managing a career.
Join Brenda Tremblay weekday mornings from 6 to 10 on Classical 91.5.
