This series follows internationally renowned Vectis Toys Auctioneers in County Durham, where buyers and sellers from all over the world come to trade every toy imaginable, from Star Wars figures to vintage dolls.

The auctioneers try to value a remarkable set of toy theatres - some more than 150 years old with expert advice from Pollock's Toy Museum, London's oldest historical Toy Museum. Meanwhile, Superman fan Tamsin is trying to bolster her own extraordinary collection. Scouting for Toys airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. and repeats Saturdays at 4 p.m. on WXXI-TV.
