You’re Invited to PBS KIDS Family Day! / ¡Está invitado(a) al Día de la Familia de PBS KIDS!

Join WXXI Kids and our friends AutismUp at the Golisano Autism Center for a PBS KIDS-filled day of fun! We’ll be celebrating families by doing crafts and hands-on activities, watching special PBS KIDS episodes, and playing together.

• Who: All families are welcome! The event is free but registration is suggested.
• Where: Golisano Autism Center, 50 Science Parkway, Rochester, NY 14620
  
• When: Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  
  

Únase a WXXI Kids y a nuestros amigos de AutismUp en el Centro de Autismo Golisano para un día de diversión con PBS KIDS. Estaremos celebrando a las familias haciendo manualidades y actividades, viendo episodios especiales de PBS KIDS, y jugando juntos.

• Quién: ¡Todas las familias son bienvenidas! El evento es gratuito, pero es referido registrarse.
• Cuándo: Domingo, 1 de mayo de 2022 de 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Dónde: Centro de Autismo Golisano - 50 Science Parkway, Rochester, NY 14620
• *Nota: Se recomienda el uso de máscarillas para aquellos que puedan hacerlo

Important & FAQs:

• Safety is a priority for our event. Masking is encouraged for those who are able. 
• There will be no PBS KIDS characters at this event. There will be photo opportunities with PBS KIDS standees but no walkaround characters. 
• The event will be structured in a way that will allow families to self-navigate, spending as much or as little time as they choose.
• The event will include spaces with a lot of activity, as well as smaller, quiet spaces spread throughout the GAC. 
• There will be plenty of helpers available for families to ask questions, gather information, or navigate the building.
