Celebrate Latinx excellence with the recipients of the 35th annual Hispanic Heritage Awards.

The evening includes performances and appearances by some of the country's most celebrated Hispanic artists and visionaries.WXXI will broadcast the 35th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards on Friday, September 30 at 9 p.m. on WXXI-TV. The historic program, which was created by the White House to commemorate the establishment of Hispanic Heritage Month in America, is among the highest honors by Latinos for Latinos and supported by 40 national Hispanic-serving institutions.

Daddy Yankee, Reggaeton’s most influential global ambassador, will receive the 2022 Legend Award. He will be recognized alongside  revealed honorees Los Lobos, Marvel Studios’ Victoria Alonso, and many others.
