Family Movie Night: Xavier Riddle: PBS Pioneers

Join us for a special Family Movie Night with Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum celebrating PBS Pioneers!

This weekend we'll be spending time with Xavier, Yadina, and Brad learning about some of our favorite PBS pioneers - Fred Rogers, Bob Ross, and Julia Child. 

Here's this weekend's Family Movie Night schedule:

• 7:00 - 7:30 p.m. -- I am Fred Rogers
• 7:30 - 8:00 p.m. -- I am Julia Child / I am Neil Armstrong
• 8:00 - 8:30 p.m. -- I am Rukmini Devi Arundale / I am Bob Ross
• 8:30 - 9:00 p.m. -- I am Fred Rogers

Where to Watch: 

• Family Movie Night airs on WXXI Kids 24/7 on TV 21.4/Cable 1277 (or 1278) 
• Airs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 
• WXXI Kids website and the PBS KIDS free Video App

Pre-Family Night Activities:
Do these fun activities to get ready for this weekend's marathon!

• Online games: Hero Maker or Hidden Heroes.
• Printable: Coloring can be a great activity to do while watching! Print out Yadina or Xavier for your child to color!
• Puzzle: We are big fans of the Florence Nightingale Word Search or the Amelia Earhart Word Find!
• Activity: Make a list of traits that great heroes have.
• Puzzle: How about an Xavier Riddle maze?
• Activity: Beef up your kiddo's self esteem with the Make a Hero Self Portrait activity.
• Activity: Play a Storytelling game using these Xavier storytelling dice (or make up your own version!)
• Watch: Who are Brad Meltzer's personal heroes?
