The news cycle continues to expose how America contends with racism: racial disparity in COVID-19 infections and deaths, the murder of Ahmaud Arbery, the police killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, the protests, the president’s tweets, the weaponization of white womanhood. America: Are We Ready: A National Call-In about Racism, Violence, and our Future Together, a two-hour national call-in Monday, June 1, 2020 from 8-10 pm on AM 1370, will convene a national conversation about racism and the election. Hosted by Kai Wright with Brian Lehrer, including guests Angela Davis from Minnesota Public Radio and Tanzina Vega from from The Takeaway, and more.

America Are We Ready is a series of national call-ins that  opens up space for listeners and callers from everywhere to talk and hear one another against the backdrop of the 2020 election.
